Southern Medical College

Southern Medical College was established in 2005. It is located at East Nasirabad, Khulshi, Chittagong. It is affiliated with Chittagong Medical College and is a fully accredited medical educational institution formed under the authorization of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW), Government of Bangladesh. It is authorized for admissions of 65 first-year recruit students annually.

The college is modern and well-furnished with adequate rooms for lectures, tutorials, and practicals. There are also practical rooms, laboratory, museum, and library. The college aims to offer quality education to its students so that they become skilled, dedicated, and responsible medical graduates achieving their goal of becoming successful doctors.

The college has 194 staff members, which includes 41 Professors, 31 Associate Professors, 44 Assistant Professors, 57 Lecturers, 2 Resident Doctors, and 4 Resident Surgeons, who have efficient experience in their field.
